HIT have created a Chef Academy which is an innovative training model for the culinary stars of the future. It aims to meet the rising demand for highly skilled chefs. Apprentice chefs are invited to take part in a series of workshops outside their normal apprenticeship schedule to enhance their skills and knowledge. Run by HIT expert chef trainers at locations across the country, the training programme brings together the very best in culinary excellence to provide apprentices with the highest quality training, development and learning in the industry.
HIT believe the chef shortage is a great topic to discuss at the show as it's a fundamental and well-documented challenge for the hospitality industry, and one that is now starting to have a real impact on the way organisations operate. HIT Training can really support with this challenge by offering career opportunities and development programmes which we would like to have the opportunity to showcase at the workshop.
