Back in 2011 the key management team of John Dalton, Andy Eckersley and Gary Leach established a small but perfectly formed company to look after hospitality clients in the North West of England and the team and the product grew from there.

In 2013 they realised that there wasn’t a specifically designed pub application so Equis was born.  Equis has grown extremely well and is now installed in hundreds of locations, in 2019 the team was joined by an old colleague and friend Rob Finley who, joins with more than 35 years of EPoS Business Development experience to grow and guide the company.

Definitive EPoS set out to provide innovative solutions to the Hospitality Industry yet provide superb customer service and to give the best possible value. This ethos has continued throughout the years with a “customer always comes first “ attitude and this has shown to have paid many benefits, in fact every customer asked to date, have been willing to be a reference site, a situation almost unheard of in the EPoS sector. Another great accolade is the continuing sales through recommendation.

Although a relatively small enterprise Definitive EPoS now provides solutions to a wide range of companies from single till small cafés and restaurants to large visitor attractions such as Pontins and we have more than 4 true pub companies with 100’s of sites between them. This success in down to experience and delivering simply great customer service.
